Getting started

Welcome to Geek Stats! The Home page is your starting point, but to see it filled with content you first need to start tracking: log at least one play or import your plays from external sources.

The Home page

As soon as you have a few plays, the Home page shows:

• The Hotness — the hottest board games right now on BoardGameGeek.
• Stats about your latest plays — a summary of your most recent game nights.
• Deals carousel — when available, a selection of board game deals.

Until you log or import plays, these elements stay empty: it only takes a few minutes to get started.

Tip: if you have a BoardGameGeek account, connect it from the Settings: you'll be able to sync your collection and make the most of the BGG-related features.

Configurable quick buttons

The Home page shows a few quick buttons (the round buttons at the bottom) that give you instant access to the actions you use most. They're configurable: from the Home menu (the icon in the top-right) you can turn each button on or off individually, so you can keep only the ones you need and keep the interface tidy.

Suggested first steps

First, set the app up to match your preferences:

1. Open the Settings.
2. Set your preferences: country, region, language and theme.
3. If you have a BoardGameGeek account, connect it: you'll be able to sync your collection and make the most of the BGG-related features.

Your first step

Now you're ready to fill your Home page. You can:

• Log your first play, or
• Import your plays from external sources.

Once done, head back to the Home page to discover stats, news and deals.
