Locations

Manage the places where you play and keep track of the plays tied to each one.

Which locations do I see

The list doesn't only show the locations you created: it also includes public locations and other people's private locations where you've played at least one game.

To navigate, use the quick filters at the top:

• Private — non-public locations (your own private ones and others' private ones where you've played);
• Public — public locations where you've played only;
• All — all visible locations.

Note: the Public filter only shows public locations where you've played: if a location doesn't appear, it doesn't mean it doesn't exist — just that you have no plays recorded there.

Creating a location

You can create a new location with the + button and choose whether to make it private or public:

• create a private location for a personal space (for example your home or a friend's), visible only to you;
• create a public location for a real place open to everyone (for example a game café or a club), so it becomes available to all users in the location search.

Private or public location

• A private location has an owner (whoever created it) and is meant for your personal use.
• A public location has no owner: the first person to create it makes it available to all users in the location search.

Editing a location

For a location you can edit its information (for example name and details) and its avatar.

Note: for public locations the avatar is chosen automatically based on the place type, to keep it consistent across all users.

Merging two locations

You can merge two locations together to consolidate the data into a single place. If one of the two locations wasn't created by you, a request will be sent to its owner.

Converting a private location into a public one

You can convert one of your private locations into a public one.

Important: once made public, that location will be matched to a real place resolved via Google Places and will no longer be editable by you.

By tapping a location you can see its details and the related plays.

Note: the location statistics (summary and most-played games chart) only count your own plays there, not other users' plays.
