Dice tower
The dice tower is a light-hearted tool for rolling dice right inside the app: pick your dice, tap Roll, and watch them tumble down a medieval tower and settle on their result.
Pick your dice
Each die type is shown as a button shaped and coloured like the die itself: d4, d6, d8, d10, d12 and d20.
- Tap a die to add one to the roll.
- Hold a die to clear all dice of that type.
You can mix different die types in the same roll (for example two d6 and one d20). The Roll button shows how many dice you have selected out of the maximum allowed for a single roll.
Roll
Tap Roll to drop the selected dice into the tower. They fall through the tower and land on the drawbridge, each settling on its own value. When every die has come to rest, the total of all results is shown below.
You can adjust your selection and roll again as many times as you like.
Luck bar
Under the total, a small luck bar shows how your roll compares to what's possible:
- the centre marks the most likely result (the average roll);
- the left end is the lowest possible total, the right end the highest;
- the marker sits where your total falls, and the bar fades from green in the middle to red at the ends.
So a marker near an end (in the red) means a rare, very lucky or very unlucky roll, while one near the centre is an ordinary result. The numbers on the two sides are the minimum and maximum totals you could roll with the dice you picked.
Note: Each result is random and independent, just like real dice โ the animation is only for show and never changes the outcome.
Tip: Use the tower for any game that needs a quick roll when you don't have physical dice handy.
